teeny tiny stitches...

They may be right, I may be crazy...
I started Arisaig this week.

Look how little these stitches are! The needles are 2.25mm, and it's what I imagine knitting with bicycle spokes must feel like!

There is something really gorgeous about working with this gauge, knowing that there will probably be thousands, if not millions, of little stitches all looping together to make a fine textured garment.

I usually detest ribbing - I don't feel like I get a rhythm going when I'm switching back and forward between knit & purl, but I am not finding this too bad. Just as well, because there is still a substantial amount of ribbing to go!

Oh you are brave! I don't think I could knit anthing bigger than a sock on 2.25mm needles.
