I finally finished the Garter Yoke cardigan! It just needs buttons and to cast off the cap sleeves...
I had originally cast this on for myself, but during the process I realised my daughter would actually get a lot more use out of it. She decided that she wanted it to be cap sleeves, a decision I'm still not 100% sold on, but we'll see!
The beauty of knitting top down is that if longer sleeves are required at a later date, I can always unpick the cast off and knit down.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with the finished product though. I would have preferred to have a little of the aqua in the hem border, but alas there was no more left in the skein :(
I think I might decrease a few stitches in the cap sleeves before casting off too, just to give them a slight puff?

It's just lovely, I really like the contrast between the colours and the body. Yes, you can make log sleeves later on!!
It looks great! I love the idea of little puff sleeves, yes please!
Very pretty. How's the nose going?
Mmm... nice and rainbow-y. I love garter stitch stripes. Hope your nose/head injury is better!
