a colour named Elven

Spurred on by finishing the Sugar Shack socks in one week, I decided to cast on Embossed Leaves Sunday morning, using another Live2Knit yarn, a colourway named "Elven'.

I was being realistic about how much I would achieve, given that this is a lace pattern over a simple rib pattern like last time, and hoped to have the cuff done by nightfall...

Hello!! Someone call a priest, because I am possessed. I cannot put it down!

This is what I got done yesterday:

I turned the heel, and am marching straight through the gusset...

I just love the word "gusset".

You go girl! So many people knitting these socks - putting me to shame (I really only work on mine on the bus home from work - half an hour of disjointed bus knitting does not a quick sock make!). It is a great pattern!

Looking good! I'm working on the monkey socks at the moment and they are totally addictive too!

What those needles fly, you're on a sock knitting role.

The Embossed Leaves socks are one of very few sock patterns I have happily knit more than once (like you, I was unable to stop once I got started). Love that colourway!
