So excited, I can barely breathe!
I've been lovin' him such a long time (to para-phrase), nearly 20 years now (when did I get so old?).
He's never let me down yet.
I'm off for a nanna nap so I can stay awake the whole set (being so old and all).
I also knuckled down and finished my Spiral Boot socks.

This is seriously a great pattern to knit up quickly. The only thing I would do differently next time (and I do believe there will be a next time for this pattern) would be to make the calf a little longer, and to slip some ribbing in-between the first and second lace charts at the cuff - they have a slight tendency to fall down...

I'm jealous! I wanted to go to the Sydney shows, but by the time I tried to get tickets, there were only crap ones left.

Hope you had a great time seeing Grinderman! And now for a total fangirl moment. I've been a fan o' Nick's since his Boys Next Door days. In fact my fave concert ever was seeing him and the Bad Seeds (Blixa in leather bondage trousers and a cobalt blue guitar - bonus!) in Denver in 1986. (so yeah, I'm *really* old)
Okay, I can't stop gushing...how was the show? What do you think of the Grinderman stuff? Is Nick having a mid-life crisis do you think? And what's up with that mustache?
