see..my...VEST, see my VEST!

Well, not actually my vest. LJ's vest.

Knitted in collaboration with Elaine.

In return for delicious pantry goodies like Fig & Nectarine jam, and Carrot, Almond & Pumpkin chutney.

I received word today that it had arrived at its intended destination and it FITS, so a big sigh of relief was uttered!

Although...it was a little hard to part with...!

oh isn't it lovely!! What a gorgeous vest. A bit unusual, as K&K might say. :-) I might want to hold onto that too instead of giving it away. Nice collaboration.

I'm so sorry to have taken it away from you. But alas, I can't return it now because I absolutely LOVE it!

I have worn it on two occasions and both times it has been admired by many people who tell me "how well it is knitted", "it's so beautiful, you'll live in it", "you can't buy clothing that that anymore, such skill".

So it's a hit dear friend, thank-you so much xo lj

Thank you so so much..... now did I mention about these other patterns and wool I have been struggling with?? ...I'm just heading off to the kitchen .....thank you again...you and your nimble fingers...
