wanna cookie?
The Marlene's are done.
I cannot more highly recommend knitting this pattern, it is awesome!
And the Jitterbug has just the perfect tight twist to set off those stitches. These are destined to be my favourite socks this winter, I'm sure.
Just a little note from my experience, the pattern has you decrease at the toe until only 14st remain, which makes it look a little pointy off the foot. I stopped earlier on the first sock (at about 20sts) but once on, it looked stumpy. I followed the pattern as written for the second sock and it was a much better fit, so I ripped out the toe of the first and re-knit it.
now, I can go cast on my new Grellow!!

Those really are beautiful socks, with the swirling on the top of the foot.
They look especially good with that orangy sherberty colourway!
