In my quest for an unusual cake for a birthday upcoming, I discovered Pariya foods has an online store.
oh dear.
Sweet pistachio Turkish delight (raahat), sour cherry nougat, rose petals and Persian fairy floss, or pashmak. Heaven on the taste buds - let's hope they last long enough to be-deck a white chocolate mud cake!
I also recently received my second installment of Knitabulous' Yarn Club - the lovely 50/50 in a Bollywood colourway. So many plans already for this yummy yarn...
My extended family meets post-Christmas each year in Melbourne's beautiful Botanical Gardens, to catch up and eat, drink and be merry at a more relaxed time than the silly season. My sweet cousin made cupcakes and her darling middle daughter happily posed for my camera with them.
I'm not sure who is sweeter in this shot?!

What a delicious selection!! I did have some of those things with a raspberry and white chocolate ice cream. Yum.
All three options are sweet in their own ways! I really like the yarn colour though, wonderful combo.
Cupcakes, yarn, fairy floss... your blog has it all this entry!
I love persian fairy floss! It is delicious.
Yum! (to the food, yarn, and adorable girlie)
Mmmm, I've seen the Pariya things in shops but have never tried it...I think I simply must now!! I do love Turkish Delight, and I'm sure their fairy floss is better than the stuff you get at the show!
Uh... oh...
I stared at a carton of turkish delight for almost five minutes on the weekend before reluctantly dragging myself away. Now I can buy it from my desk at work?
WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!?!?
I agree with Gidgetknits... so much sweetness. xo lj
