I can hardly believe it, but my little baby in da hoodie is turning 1 this weekend!
so I made him this...
He's a big lad, so it's size 2, but even so, I have concern on the fit :)
It's another Phildar pattern - they do great kids' knitwear in my opinion.
Next on the needles is another Birthday Babe jumper, this time for Sweet Lady A, who nearly 12 months ago was the recipient of this cardigan. Hers' too will be a Phildar pattern - garter stitch tunic in multi-coloured stripes, and an asymmetrical neckline, just loving it already!
Thanks to everyone for their lovely comments about my new "do" and car - you guys are great at lifting the spirits!

The birthday sweater looks fabulous. I love all the colors you used too.
It is a lovely jumper- I really love the colours in the variegated wool and it goes so well with the stripes!!!
Just discovered Phildar and then you send me to the site - you enabler!
hee hee!
Cute jumper - you just can't beat Phildar for kids stuff!
So incredibly, incredibly cute... you really are a knitting marvel, aren't you?
hugs, g xo
P.S. I think Louise might be going without a knitted vest this coming winter... the needles have been cast aside temporarily. Rules can be so hard to stick to, and stuffies keep a -calling.
lordy that is a MOST excellent looking jumper, top job!!
