clap your hands and say YEAH!

The clapotis, she is done.

I had read lots of accounts of how boring people found this pattern to knit, the repetitive straight rows, broken only by the momentary thrill of the "dropped stitch" once every 12 rows.

Me, I loved it.

I loved that I could knit away happily while watching TV, and I enjoyed the repetition. It was easy to pick up and put down at a moments notice; it fit into a small bag that I could carry around with me and whip through a few rows whenever time permitted.

In short, it was exactly the right knit at exactly the right time. Don't you love that sort of synergy?

I will definitely make another one of these, by right now I have been commissioned by a certain 9yo for a hot pink and black beanie (we are going through another punk phase - I count my blessings daily!)

WOW! so fast. I'm seriously impressed. Mine is competing with other projects - it's not that I don't love it, it's just competing.

I love yours and I love that synergy! That was what my pi shawl was for me.

Such a great colour, it looks fabulous. I agree on the synergy, and also I think I get into a bit of a groove with clappy, which makes it go faster!

Synergy rocks. So does your Clap. Lovely color with your pretty red hair.

*clap, clap, clap*

Looks awesome! If it wasn't a bazillion degrees in Toronto I'd totally want to reach out and touch that cashmere!

gorgeous! I also like knitting the clapotis...it's one of the few patterns that I can honestly say that I will probably knit again and again.

She's beautiful. I love the green. I also agree about the great rhythm of knitting something, not boring, but with a nice pattern like the Clapotis.
