some of you may remember me talking about a project I was asked to be involved in awhile ago.

I'm pleased to say that last night I received a lovely email from Pip to say we had a release date!

'Meet Me At Mike's' is due in stores around 25th March 2009 - but is available for pre-order (for late March delivery) now at http://www.readings.com.au/product/9781740666305/meet-me-at-mikes-25-fun-and-crafty-projects

The blurb on the back reads:

From Melbourne’s best loved crafty store comes Meet Me at Mike’s, a cornucopia of crafty fun and inspiration. Queen of Crafters Pip Lincolne has gathered 25 of the best projects from the country’s most creative cleverbods -everything from baby yoga pants and clutch purses to hankies and softies. You can sew, knit, crochet, collage and screenprint yourself into a frenzy! Each cute and quirky project comes with easy-to-follow instructions and full-size fold out patterns. With such a fabulous range of ideas, you’ll find something to make for all your favourite pals. If you’re looking for fun and creative things to brighten up everyone’s day, have a peek inside and get crafty!

Hardie Grant has published Pip's vision of a document of the Australian Contemporary Craft scene; a snapshot, if you will, of right here, right now, and I am delighted to have been invited and involved.

There will be an excerpt published in the next issue of FRANKIE magazine (with a special free shipping offer for Frankie readers). There's also quite a few other editorials coming up in other magazines, so keep your eyes peeled if you'd like a further look inside :)
