Many of you may already know, but Victoria has just experienced it's worst bushfires {please be warned, this links to news headlines that may be distressing} on record, with over 120 dead, and many more injured and homeless. Everyone down here knows someone affected. It has been one of the saddest weekends we've ever experienced.
The Red Cross is calling for monetary donations to help in the immediate situation. If you can help in any way, please donate at your local bank or online.

This has been on the news a lot here. It's so terrible, and so shocking to hear that some of the fires were apparently started on purpose.
