finally, after months of patient (or not!) waiting, Pip's fabulous book "Meet me at Mike's" is here.
It feels like years, not months, since Pip first contacted me to see if I'd like to contribute a project to her book, but I can tell you now, it was worth the wait ;)
A gorgeous, delightful book, full to the brim with crafty projects of all types and a fresh and breezy attitude that encourages everyone to join in and have a go. hmm, that sounds just like Pip!
Within the pages, you will discover many familiar names. My contribution was a simple knitted clutch-purse, made in sumptuous Noro Silk Garden, and finished with spotty lining and a fab button.
it's ever so exciting to see ones' name in print, and I'm very proud to have been involved in this project.
so, thank you, Pip...
thank you for caring about all the nice things in this world...
thank you for being such an ace girl...
thank you for making such a lovely book...
and thank you for inviting me to be part of it all :)

Well that is just fabulous!
All these lovely books around with awesome things to make and not enough time to make them. One day...
OMG I now so KNOW a celebrity!
All the oraange yarn in the world is now yours :)
(blush!) Thank YOU for helping me make such a lovely book!! I love your project a whole heap, Miss Kylie! Such a pleasure to be in your company, methinks.
Well that is just so exciting. Congrats to you!
Squeeeeeee!!!
what a gorgeous clutch! - but I had you as odds on favourite for a tea cozy!
I love the lining on that purse! That's gorgeous - and I'm definitely keeping an eye out for the book.
Looks wonderful, what a thrill. Huge congratulations from me. xo lj
Congratulations on being published, and such a lovely pattern too!! How exciting it must be to see your name and pattern in print!!
Gah. I've just discovered my Bloglines link to you is frakked, and I've missed out on a bunch of stuff, including this post. Sooo sorry, because I haven't told you CONGRATULATIONS! on becoming a published designer. So: congratulations! It is one awesome clutch, and hopefully will be the first of many (knitting pattern) laurels in your cap.
Hey, I saw your book in Dymocks. Very nice indeed! Congratulations
