went and collect my items yesterday from the Red Hill Show, but missed out on my hat trick with the tea cosies. oh well, as they say, better luck next year!
The winner was a well-deserving item (you can see it here, from knittingforloveandsanity). A beautiful felted cosy with floral applique, gorgeous detail and finish. Knittingforlove is a member of our local S'n'B, and I've been chatting to her online for a couple of years now, and I was very pleased to see her success.
My cranberry & silver cosy got third in it's division, and my booties got a first. The little toddler vest also got a third.
and I'm already working on what to put in next year!

Oh darn it! But the level of competition is so high (the red felted tea cosy is gorgeous!) and it's nice to share the prizes around I guess!
I loved both your cozies! and your other entries too. The person I was with spotted your booties and exclaimed (unprompted) "Oh aren't they lovely. They're so tiny!". Thanks for the comments on my blog.
We made it to the show and I went into the craft bit to spot your goodies- I saw you won for the booties (they're beautiful!!), better luck next year for the tea cosy (although the felted one was gorgeous too) :) mandy xxxx
Wow girl, you have been busy! You must tell me more about the Redhill show, do they have crochet entries?
I love all of what you entered. It must be such a thrill to receive a ribbon for your craft!
Well, drat in missing the trifecta. But there's always next year, right? I like that your nefarious plotting has begun already...when planning tea cozy world domination it's good to be prepared. And congrats on ribboning!
