my week of finishing things

Today I went looking for some wool to cast on a new beret I've been itching to knit, and I stopped myself mid-forage and had to give myself a good stern talking to.

There are currently *ahem* ok, 8 projects
languishing on the needles, all of which need minimal effort to see completion. Half-finished socks need to be rounded up in order to make way for new Personal Sock Club shipments. Long-promised gifts need to be finished and whooshed to recipients by mail. Progress must be made on long-term projects.

so this week, I am knuckling down. I did manage to complete this project today - a Pea Pod Cardigan for friends celebrating a new arrival. I just need buttons - wood, perhaps? I used the lovely Bella Baby Layette (bamboo/wool
- so soft!) for this project and I adore the colour (Linen) which is a beautiful soft brownish-olive-grey.

I am not aiming for all, but there are some specifics that I want done and dusted before anything new gets near cast on!

grannying along, will of course not be affected, and will continue on schedule...

Peapod is lovely - great idea for the Bella Baby, I've got some in green that would be perfect I think! If only I can finish some of the 10 projects I've got on the go right now...
