warm ups

I had about 37g left over of Malabrigo Merino worsted from when I knitted my star cross'd beret, and I didn't want to just let it go to waste, but what to do with 70m of yarn? Surely there's nothing substantial that can be made with that amount?

Why do I ever doubt? Ravelry, naturally, provided me with the answer...

free to air, and quick to knit up - these took me about an hour of steady knitting.

these are going to be perfect for outdoor skate warm-up sessions!

oh fantastic! I have half a skein of malabrigo left. Thanks for that!

Oh what Bells already said! One hour of knitting (reckon they'd take me two!!) Nice!

(ooooh, the word verification is "satie" - I think that's an omen...SM Sadie!)

YOU are a problem solver. I had this exact same conundrum: star crossed beret, leftover malabrigo. This is PERFECT!!
