finished

my Rowena is done!

I decided to leave the ribbon (or any alternatives) off, and just used a hook and eye clasp at the neckline, a decision I'm very happy with. I just don't think I would have worn the floppy bow well.

I embroidered little red leaves onto some grey wool flannel I had, and made fabric-covered buttons to finish it off.

It took just over 2 balls (200g) of Bendigo Classic 5ply, on 3.75mm addi circulars, so not only was it a most enjoyable knit, it was also quite an economical little knit!
just perfect for early Spring in Melbourne!

looks great! The photo is a lot of fun too. Nice choice to include the table :)I think the no ribbon was a good plan too. Would have made it kinda fussy.
